Tips for Tourists

The town of Ustek is situated at the crossroads to three major towns between Usti nad Labem, Litomerice and Ceska Lipa. Traditionally, tourism is developed here, thanks to the neighbouring Chmelar Lake, with interesting natural scenery (Protected Landscape Area PLA), the vicinity of the Helfenburg castle, and the town of Ustek historical downtown area.

Its whole neighbourhood, including a number of architectonic and historic landmarks with beautiful, so far almost untouched, nature, is a frequent destination for rest and recreation of many visitors and tourists.

Around the town of Ustek, the landscape is hilly with many forests and a number of cyclist's paths and ponds dominated by the Chmelar Lake with its 67 ha area. The town of Ustek is located ca. 70 km north-west of Prague; the town is the excellent starting point for learning about tourist destinations in the northern Bohemia.
